- May 18th, 2002 - Stanford University - Palo Alto, CA
This was a big day for R.V.N.G.: our first fashion show! The show was put together by AASA , the Asian-American Student Association of Stanford. It featured clothing by Black Lava, Karl Kani, Vamp Design, Yoji Ino, Pinoy Wear, Alan Chan, Red Five, Cosmic Debris, and of course, Revenge. Each set was filled with dancing, performing, and saucy poses. The intermission featured an impressive dance performance by Stanford's own Urban Styles. Proceeds from the show went to Global Exchange, to support their campaigns to combat international sweat shop abuse.
The models vamped and sauntered about the runways, sporting 16 different garments to the song "Erotic City", by Prince. The following shirts were on the runway: "This Jesus Called Arson", "Oni", "Alchemical Man", "Squid" button-up, "Panic", "Blood is Sweeter than Water", "Serpentine", "From Schoolgirl to Skullgirl" (two versions), "Segregado Corazon", "Blackheart", "Aberzombie", "Under Your Bed", "R.V.N.G. Indiana", "Make Love, Not Bombs", and "Godless America". (Most of the shirts in the show are brand new and not yet on the site, by the way).
so far we just have a few pics from the digital camera on this page, and some
pics by the Stanford Daily newspaper, but stay tuned! We still have more pics coming soon!
